Hongkong Post has launched a mobile app called “HKPostStamps”. By scanning specially designed stamps with this app, vivid and interesting multimedia content will be displayed on your mobile devices, offering you a new philatelic experience. This mobile app also provides quick access to our online shop “ShopThruPost” (shopthrupost.hongkongpost.hk), enabling you to purchase our philatelic products anytime and anywhere.

Along with the issue of “Our Police Force” special stamps, Hongkong Post has created a number of mini-games running on mobile phones. By scanning the six specially designed stamps with the “HKPostStamps” mobile app, you will be able to learn more about the work of police through the mini-games behind each stamp. These games also help to raise the awareness of customers against crime, e.g. cyber frauds. By applying augmented reality (AR) technology, you can take photographs wearing a virtual 3D helmet of the Airport Security Unit with the front camera of your mobile phone.
