EDA Teacher

The English Diagnostic Assessment Teacher App enables Teachers to mark and assess the students’ performance for them to assign them onto a suitable course & begin their studies at the Imperial English Academy!

It’s a quick, easy and efficient solution for marking!

The app assesses students in the following skills:
• Grammar - 45 multiple choice questions (60 minutes)
• Writing - 2 writing tasks (40 minutes)
• Reading - 60 fill the gap questions (60 minutes)
• Listening & Speaking - respond to 16 questions (20 - 30 minutes)


Marking the EDA:
• Of the above assessment components Grammar and Reading are marked automatically.
• The app offers a preview section where teachers can view which of the questions were correct and incorrect. This information can be used to identify any patterns and enable teachers to provide effective comments when giving feedback on the performance.
• The writing, listening & speaking components are to be marked by the teacher.
• The Teacher App mentions clear and concise notes to follow as reference when marking these components, with a breakdown on mark allocations and overall English language level.
• There is space to add comments, marks and decide the recommended level of study for the student.
• Upon completion of the marking process the student will be notified of their results automatically via the registered email and can also view their report by logging in on the EDA Student App.


Note teachers will require the following information before you can register:
• Teacher Email - the Imperial English Academy must create and share a teacher ID and password for the nominated person(s).
• Students are required to mention this teacher ID when registering for the EDA. So when that particular teacher logs in on the Teacher App those students’ assessments should automatically be assigned to them ready for marking.
