App Store Description

Allows electricians to quickly generate and send ad-hoc and informal electrical safety alerts to clients.

Electrical Safety Alerter is an ideal tool to promote electrical maintenance in the years between formal safety inspections.

An alert can be generated and sent in only a few seconds...

1. Photograph an adverse electrical condition (visible defect or tester readout)
2. Select a 'Best Practice' observation and classification code from the built in list
3. Add further notes if required
4. Generate the alert to your client as a Message, Email or WhatsApp message.

WhatsApp support is currently limited to text only (no photo attachment).

The generated alert contains additional wording explaining the risk and urgency required. It also explains the limitations of the alert - that a full inspection has not been carried out and that other conditions may exist which only an EICR could reasonably be expected to reveal.

Alerter will store a single list of observations which acts as a buffer until you can prepare and send alerts. After an alert has been created it is recommend that you delete the relevant observation from the list.

There are over 80 template observations built into Alerter, these are hard-paired with the recommended Classification Code (C1, C2, C3, FI) as per the UK's Best Practice Guide 4 Issue 4.
