Say hello to the most simple Engine License prep app ever created!

Here's how it works...

The app is free to download and divided into the six subjects: Generals, Electricity, Safety & Environment, Motors, Steam, and Gas Turbines.

Each subject can be purchased in-app one at at time or through a bundle at a reduced cost. The choice is yours on how you want to pay. A weekly subscription is offered as well called the Cram Plan* which unlocks everything. Bundles are as follows...

Diesel Package: Unlocks Generals, Electricity, Safety & Environment, and Motors.
Unlimited Package: Unlocks all subjects including Steam and Gas Turbines.

Generals has three sub sections: Generals, Refers, and Management. This is due to the vast amount of questions Generals has.

Each subject features a Study Mode, Review Mode, Test Mode, and Question Bank Mode.
-Study Mode: Go through all of the questions one by one. The ones you know get eliminated.
-Review Mode: Once study mode is completed you can review the questions you don't know till you know them all.
-Test Mode: After Review or anytime, generate randomized tests with 10, 25, 50, or 70 questions. Or you can go over past example tests the USCG has released over the years.
-Question Bank Mode: Explore the entire question bank and test by category. You could use it to memorize questions and answers before going to Study Mode.

Illustrations and solutions are included!
You can study for any rating because any question could be on any rating exam. Even if some of the questions aren't for your rating, they're good to know and can help do better on other related questions.

Question banks updated as of December 2021 and there are over 6,000 questions total.

You can study anywhere! Be aware that only the subscription requires an internet connection.

Study on iPhone, iPad, or Mac!
Progress and saves sync through iCloud between iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Must have an internet connection in order for it to work.

FAQ

Does this app have everything I need to study?
Yes, the developer built this app while studying for the 1st Unlimited exam and completed the app around the time of passing the exam. The developer's scores ranged from upper 80s to 90s.

I want to get my QMED License, does this app work for me?
Ideally no. The app caters towards bigger licenses at the moment. Every QMED question is in this app, but doesn't tell you which ones. If you were to study every question in this app, you would pass the QMEDs license, but it may take longer than other test prep software to study.

Are the question banks always updated?
Yes, new questions are added on an annual basis just like every other exam prep software. All questions and illustrations are pulled from the Coast Guard Sample Tests that are made Public. I am not affiliated with the US Coast Guard.

Do the categories match the USCG modules?
Not at the moment but category changes are coming soon to match the USCG modules.
