THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION
Education is a human right in itself and is essential for realising other human rights. In meeting the right to education, every child and young person should have access to a free and equitable education system. Unfortunately, my experience as a science teacher in New Zealand, is that our schools are failing to provide a equitable education system for some children. This is especially true for Indigenous students, neurodivergent students and students struggling with their mental health.
MY GOAL
My goal for creating this app was to try and provide a fun way to help any student struggling with high school biology to achieve success. I wanted to see if gaming will help re-ignite your passion for biology and give you the motivation to overcome any struggles you face with the subject.
NO ADS OR IN-APP PURCHASES IN GAME
Since education is a human right, access to education should be completely free. Therefore, this game will have no ads or in-app purchases. It will be completely free to download and play
LEARN BIOLOGY CONCEPTS
This game will teach you the core biology concepts of enzymes and enzyme specificity using labyrinths as the game-play mechanic. Labyrinth walking is an ancient activity that could help ease anxiety so hopefully you can learn and relax at the same time. Try it out and see if you can learn high school biology playing games.
I would love to hear from you, so please get in touch with any feedback or ideas to improve my games
