App Store Description

The ePRO app is developed as a student project at the University Bremen in Germany in cooperation with a project at the Mahidol University in Thailand.

Our system’s purpose is to provide a digital way of creating and sharing surveys with the participant of studies. These studies are conduct by our partners at the Mahidol University and their associates. The app is only designed for answering these surveys by the participants. The researchers use a web dashboard developed by us for creating and administrating the surveys.

Therefore, the intended target audience are study participants of the projects at the Mahidol University. Since these studies cover long term developments of different events (without being able to go into too much detail here), they are always started in person with follow-up surveys in subsequent weeks and/or months. These initial in-person meetings are where the participants are provided with the QR code required for logging into their account in the app. The app is not intended for use by the general public outside of these studies.

The basis for collecting the survey answers is covered by standard agreements between the researchers and the participants as common for academic studies.
