What is it about?

This app allows users to peruse and purchase promotions offered by registered businesses. A promotion might be unlimited coffee for one week pre-paid by credit card or PayPal. A purchase is redeemed by using the phone camera to scan a QR code unique to the registered business at their premises.A user who has purchased a weekly promotion is warned one day before expiry their purchase is about to expire. They can opt to cancel the deal or proceed with payment for another week the following day. A facility is provided for businesses to register and add / update / delete promotions. Users can email up to five friends, SMS a friend, push a notification to other users or post on facebook promotions they like and want to share. The app also identifies, using Google Maps the location of a business of interest with respect to the location of a user. An alert appears the first time you login to the app asking you to confirm your current location.
