Welcome to Accept, the enterprise ready acceptance test management application for iPad Pro running iOS 12. Accept enables you to work anytime, anywhere you decide to work -- be it in the office, at a client site or on the go -- thanks to the mobility convenience of iPad Pro. With Accept, you can easily create, assign and manage acceptance tests with just a few taps.
What is Accept?
Accept is a powerful, yet easy to learn and use, acceptance test management application developed to extend testers' ability to manage acceptance tests on iPad Pro.
Accept organizes an acceptance test project into three sections:
* General Information
* Test Definitions
* Test Executions
General Information contains scope, system overview, project references, acronyms, abbreviations and points of contact. Test Definitions provides a description of unique names or descriptors of the tests to be executed and describes the types of tests and test objectives. Test Executions provides a description of the tests being performed, test schedules, expected results and actual results of tests.
Enterprise UI
Accept uses the new enterprise-focused UI developed for the Quirem application to provide a cleaner, lighter look and feel that provides more information in a clearer, more readable manner. The Quirem/Accept UI strips away all of the unnecessary colors to provide a beautiful, immediately appealing UI.
The new UI displays your company name, your name, the name of the person who last modified content being viewed, as well as the date and time of the modification on nearly every view displayed an Accept project. For the most part only three colors are used to display Project information:
* White
* Black
* Dark Gray
The new user interface also displays the view names you visited to get to the current view to help you understand how each previous view is related to the view you are working in.
Synchronizing Data
All data created in Accept is stored directly on the iPad Pro in a Core Data database. Data can be synchronized with your corporate database using JSON OR REST-compliant Web Services. Accept can be configured to use either JSON or XML to send/receive data during the synchronization process.
Data Sharing
Accept offers two types of data sharing:
* Team member collaboration
* Inter-app communication
Team member collaboration enables nearby team members to use AirDrop to easily, quickly, securely send/receive Accept data between iPad Pros. Inter-app communication enables you to share acceptance test and requirements data between the Accept and Quirem applications, respectively, when both applications are installed on the same iPad Pro.
Also, when an acceptance test project is created in Accept, the applications asks if you want to create an associated requirements project in Quirem. If you agree, the Quirem application is sent the project data to store in its own Core Data database.
My Activities
Accept contains a special view to enable testers to see the test activities that have been assigned to them. In this view, testers can accept, work on, decline or reassign test activities.
Traceability and Auditing
Accept saves meta data about every save operation within a trace record stored in the Accept Core Data database. This enables corporate governance to maintain an audit trail of all changes made to projects managed by Accept.
Calendar Integration
When the estimated end date or test activity start date has been saved, testers can add the dates to the iOS Calendar app to help them with monitoring their schedules. Accepts respects privacy by asking permission to access Calendars before doing so.
