Do you want to auto pop-up your Nest application to check the temperature when you entering your house? Or trigger your loyalty web site at the retail department?
The app will trigger other apps (from the list) or the web URL when you approach to the configured BLE beacon. You would need to have BLE beacon (or Access Point with BLE iBeacon function) and configure it with UUID/Major/Minor values.
