Faculty of Contemporary Arts – FCA is the first private faculty of performing and applied arts in the region, with a tradition spanning over more than 20 years.
As a part of the big international educational alliance LINK group, it provides its students with the best an art school can give – a unique blend of art and new technology.
FCA educates contemporary artists, people who will create in step with their times and the exciting 21st century world that keeps changing, advancing and setting new, higher standards. This is why the students are taught and encouraged to use modern technology and thereby, in addition to the expanded freedom this technology provides, gain competitive advantage in the job market.
Accredited programs for the artists of the future
The faculty’s undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs are officially accredited and created based on a vision of a better, more efficient higher education, bringing together traditional experience in education and contemporary tendencies. The students can choose between:
Fine Arts
Design
Dramatic Arts – Acting
Art Production and Media Management
Music Communications
Applied Media and Content Creation
Creative Business
Digital knowledge that pushes the boundaries in art
Studies at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts are formulated so that they ensure that the students use modern technology from day one and can rely on it throughout the creative process, from preparation to production; moreover, state-of-the-art technology is often an integral part of their artistic concepts themselves, ensuring that their ideas are conveyed in the best possible way. This approach brings applicable knowledge that yields professional engagements as soon as the studies are finished -- or, not uncommonly, while they are still underway.
Professors as an example: Recognized experts firmly focused on their students
Faculty of Contemporary Arts’ professors are recognized and esteemed names in their fields. They are determined to be the best possible mentors to their students, always available to provide answers and assistance in developing young talent in the right direction. Their goal is to make sure that the students acquire competences that will enable them to take an active, creative part in the modern-day art world.
The teaching personnel has been carefully selected to ensure that the faculty members can serve as exemplary role models. Through a great number of projects and extensive cooperation with galleries, fine and applied arts associations and media outlets, the students have a clear pathway towards the art elite.
Career development while studies are still underway
Infiltrating the art scene is sometimes harder than it seems, regardless of quality and talent. While their studies are still in progress, the students are involved in public art events, projects and festivals, gaining valuable experience and rubbing elbows with the giants in their fields.
Prestigious international certificates and English-mediated lessons – a ticket to a successful career abroad
Upon the completion of their studies at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, in addition to the official diploma, the students can also gain quite valuable internationally recognized Adobe and Autodesk certificates, which significantly facilitate employment after the faculty, especially abroad.
At the same time, the students are preparing for an international career, since the FCA is the only faculty that provides English-mediated lectures, preparing them to land English-speaking movie and theater roles and play them just as successfully as they play characters that speak their mother tongue.
