Farmer's Grazing Calculator

Grazing Calculator for Farmer's is designed to help you calculate feed for animal's. This app allow's you to find the break size required, estimate the amount of day's grazing that is available in a paddock or crop, calculate how much feed the stock is currently getting and a convenient "Distance Finder" that use's your device's GPS. If you are also feeding supplement feed, this can be implemented into the equation.

Calculate Break Size:

Calculate's what size break to give and how much supplement feed to give if enabled. Input field's are:

- Mob Total
- Daily Feed Per Animal (kg)
- Dry Matter Pasture or Crop Yield Available (kg/ha)
- Paddock or Crop Width (m)

If supplement feed is enabled, other input field's are:

- Grass or Crop Intake (%)
- Supplement Feed Intake (%)
- Supplement Feed Dry Matter Percentage (%)

Calculate Day's in Paddock or Crop:

Calculate's how many day's grazing are available in a paddock or crop and how much supplement feed to give if enabled. Input field's are:

- Mob Total
- Daily Feed Per Animal (kg)
- Dry Matter Pasture or Crop Yield Available (kg/ha)
- Paddock or Crop Size (ha)

If supplement feed is enabled, other input field's are:

- Grass or Crop Intake (%)
- Supplement Feed Intake (%)
- Supplement Feed Dry Matter Percentage (%)

Calculate Current Grazing:

Calculate's how much feed the stock is currently getting from grass or crops and supplement feed if enabled. Input field's are:

- Mob Total
- Day's Grazing in Paddock/Break or Crop
- Dry Matter Pasture or Crop Yield Available (kg/ha)
- Paddock/Break or Crop Size (ha)

If supplement feed is enabled, other input field's are:

- Daily Supplement Feed Given (kg)
- Supplement Feed Dry Matter Percentage (%)

Distance Finder:

Using your device's GPS (not all device's compatible), you can find the distance between two points. When you press "Start Recording," your location will be recorded. Every 1 second after that, the distance between your start location and current location will be displayed.
