Film tourism - Tourist itineraries and the discovery of the films set in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Friuli Venezia Giulia is a region where nature, history, tradition and culture are blended together in a mix of landscapes and captivating atmospheres. Mountains, meadows and woods are followed by the hills, then the plains, the area where the river rises and then the lagoon and the coast. Ippolito Nievo called it “a world in miniature”.
And it is indeed the wealth of natural landscapes, history and culture which attract the film directors and film crews who decide to set their films in these surroundings.
The guide allows a curious and innovative journey to the discovery of the film sets of Friuli Venezia Giulia and is an invitation to discover a territory and its places from the most famous ones to those less known.
The guide, aimed at film lovers, tourists and anyone who is just curious, presents a selection of about 50 films, TV series and videoclips, listed under 300 points of interest spread across the provinces of Trieste, Udine, Gorizia and Pordenone.
Each film is accompanied by a in-depth description with information about the films, a short plot, some anedoctes, historical information and a photo gallery.
