Finitude

Finitude lets you write and send reminders to yourself about the things in your life that matter most. Once you create a reminder, the app sends it to you periodically, on a random day, along with a general reminder of your mortality: how many months you might have left to live. Because months, unlike years, are graspable amounts of time that pass quickly, the number always feels small, which makes death feel more real, even if only briefly.

Finitude isn't a death clock: you set your "months left" number yourself, to whatever you like. Rather than a countdown, it's meant as a way to provoke a response, to help you incorporate the knowledge of your death into the way that you live.
