Football Survivor is the official 'Last Man Standing' app for the Premier League.


Background:
Most traditional 'Last Man Standing' games are run using spreadsheets to track each gameweek, and only provide the option for players to choose a winning team each week. We've changed that by creating an app that automates all the manual hard work, provides a variety of winning markets to choose from (not just 'pick a team to win'), and introduces new and exciting game mechanics, such as 'Power-Ups' and 'Buy Backs'.

How the game works:
Football Survivor follows a pool betting game structure. All you need to do is correctly predict 1 winning selection each round of Premier League fixture (or 'gameweek'), if your pick is incorrect you are eliminated from the league and will have to buy back in to continue. To make things interesting, once a you have chosen a team once, you cannot choose that same team again. The aim of the game is to survive longer than the other players in the league and win the pot.


Leagues:
You can create your league as open or closed. If it is open anyone on the app can join your league. If it is closed only users with your bespoke league code can join.


Players pay an entry fee (determined by the league creator aka the 'Captain') to join and all the entry fees make up the prize pot. Whichever player lasts the longest in the league without losing, wins the pot.

If you get a selection wrong, you can 'Buy Back' in to the league before the next gameweek deadline, with the buy back fee going back into the pot.

Power-Ups allow you to boost your chances of winning a gameweek, but for a price. Each power-up can only be used once per league, so make sure you use them strategically.
