The Freight Alerts App is a great tracking tool for freelance couriers and owner drivers using GPS enabled phones.

The App enables Freight Alerts users to advertise their vehicle availability for additional work, for example if travelling empty or part empty.

Visitors to the Freight Alerts website are able to search for available vehicles closest to the required collection address and the search returns the details of the nearest vehicles.

In addition, users of the App can keep customers or colleagues informed on the latest position of their vehicle via their own tracking page on the Freight Alerts website.

Please note that this App can be downloaded and used by anyone free of charge but it has been designed to work with a Freight Alerts account.

Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life and we recommend connecting to an external power source when tracking is active.
