French Verbs 2020

French irregular verbs are nearly impossible to master unless they are learned with a system. Thanks to conjugation patterns, learning irregular verbs becomes much easier.
Once you have learned a pattern of a key or main verb, you can apply it to other verbs belonging to the group.
Colors further divide the verbs into groups. What color a verb takes on, is determined by its endings in Indicatif/Présent, as they provide the basis for other tenses like imparfait, subjonctif or imperatif.

The card of a key verb shows the colored endings and stem changes. At the bottom there is a list of verbs to which the conjugation pattern can be applied.
