Funny Sixties Singapore

The Online65 app covers happenings and trends (daily events and popular culture, quirks etc)in Singapore today set in the 1960s through re-enactment and old materials and blogs through a fun, light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek manner with references made as if it is taking place in present day.

The project aims to foster a sense of identity by looking at Singaporean culture - heritage, lifestyles, behaviour patterns and cuisine etc, both of today and yesteryear as our sense of identity is rooted in common history, as a country and as a society. The objective is to instil in fellow Singaporeans a sense of belonging and their own identity as a people, by reminding them of where we came from and how we have grown as a nation from the 1960s.
