What is it about?
Lorentz contraction
App Store Description
Lorentz contraction
The lenght of an object moving at speeds approaching the speed of light, with respect to an observer at rest, will contract along the direction of motion by the factor
L = L1 * sqrt(1-(v/c)^2) where L is the length observed by the observer in state of rest, L1 is the length measured when the object is motionless, 'v' is the velocity of the object and 'c' is the speed of light (about 300000 km/sec),
In our case the Eiffel Tower (about 320 meters) when it approachs the speed of light its lenght will shrink as the screen image.
The program will also display the correct data.
Time in the moving system will be observed by a stationary observer to be running slower. In other words if the Eiffeil tower would travel during one year (tower time) at 95% of the speed of light, the elapsed time on the Earth will be equal to 3.2 years and the tower lenght will be about 100 meters.
Travel into the future.
It is possible "to travel into the future" by using a very speed spacecraft. Depending on the acceleration of the spacecraft (in our case from 1 to 5 G) and the time spent on board, on the Earth will spend a greater number of years.
