Access tools and resources available from Gateways to Opportunity!

Gateways to Opportunity is a statewide professional development support system designed to provide guidance, encouragement, and recognition to individuals and programs serving children, youth, and families in Illinois. The Gateways to Opportunity app has been developed to provide mobile-based tools that provide another way to access the professional development supports available.

The main feature of this app is for use when attending a Gateways Registry-Verified Conference. These are conferences throughout Illinois (and neighboring states) that have gone through a voluntary quality assurance process. To find a Registry-verified conference near you, search our Statewide Online Training Calendar at http://registry.ilgateways.com/find-training.

To use this app, you must:
• Have an online Gateways Registry user account
• Have a current Gateways Registry Membership

App Features:

• Log in using the username/password you have set up for your Registry online account
• Scan the conference code when you attend a conference
• Scan the session codes on the stickers you receive at each session to automatically record your attendance on your Professional Development Record (PDR)
