GathR With Friends

GathR is a unique mobile application for facilitating and promoting social gatherings among connected users. GathR users have the power to create, invite and manage their Gatherings at the touch of a button. These gatherings are visible on a map interface that doesn’t exist on any app anywhere else.

When using the built-in “Check-in” or “Event” functions an invite is sent to specific people or groups of friends, while also allowing the user to specify people you did not ‘invite’ to see your check-in or event on their Map (For example: Friends from out of town). Resulting in the usual gathering of close friends whom you may have otherwise texted, but also visually displaying your gathering on a map to the rest of your friends who may be travelling around and may want to stop in.

GathR is unique in how it displays your location and the customization of who sees it, while also providing unrivalled GPS technology that automatically removes your icon from the map when you leave your location. This means that you don’t have to worry about removing your “Check-in” or leaving prematurely and having friends show up looking for you.
