The app hosts sound works connected to places and times in the city’s history. Discover stories of Gothenburg presented by international artists and navigate through the city for the contemporary art exhibition.
Through this app, you spend time with artworks all on your own, and you choose where to listen and when. Can your phone become a museum?
Find practical information about the exhibition venues and programme, or experience the sound works at your own pace, wherever you are. You can use the app before, during or after your visit to the exhibition, as a private guide or as a gallery of sound works. Also use it to find your way around Västra Götaland, to visit museums, art centres and artist-run organisations and discover the vibrant contemporary art life in the region.
The app includes tours of each biennial exhibition, information about artists and artworks on display, tips on talks, film screenings and workshops taking place during the biennial months. There are also recommendations on where to listen to the sound works, as imagined by the artists and the curator.
