What is it about?

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)

Gladius, the sword is a Catholic Homily App.
It’s purpose is to bring the Word of God closer to all who yearn for Christ on a daily basis. It presents one of the daily readings of the Catholic Church based on the Liturgical calendar and is meant to help individual and family morning devotions.
It is also meant to help people who, due to the nature of their schedule or location cannot attend mass or read the Word for the day, have the opportunity of listening to a homily for their quiet time at dawn or as they drive to work.
Among the target audience are the sick, aged and home bound who cannot go for mass daily.
May the Word of the Lord, as it comes to you in the form of a reading and homily by a Catholic Priest, refresh you and guide your walk towards eternity.
May the word of God like a sword destroy every work of the devil in your life.
