Global Education Allies (GEA) is dedicated to connecting educators and students from diverse backgrounds through international education travel and collaborative partnership programs. Our goal is to cultivate global awareness, foster innovative learning environments, and promote a deeper understanding of various cultures and perspectives.

Our mission:
At Global Education Allies, we strive to facilitate transformative opportunities and experiences for educators around the world to collaborate and enhance their classrooms and schools through innovative methodologies and practices. Our three main objectives are centered on developing and expanding intercultural competencies for both educators and students, aiming to create well-rounded global citizens capable of understanding and appreciating cultural diversity.

Encouraging cultural exchange: We believe that through international travel and immersion in different cultures, educators and students can gain valuable insights and broaden their perspectives on global issues.

Promoting collaboration and innovation: By fostering connections between educators and institutions, we enable the sharing of best practices and innovative teaching methods, ultimately enhancing the quality of education for students worldwide.

Building a network of global allies: Our programs serve to create lasting relationships among educators, schools, organizations, and universities, fostering a global community dedicated to the advancement of education and cross-cultural understanding.

Since our inception, GEA has successfully engaged hundreds of participants, many of whom are returning alumni from our diverse range of programs. We have teacher partners and alumni in 25 countries, 18 of which we have led educator travel study programs to. In our 9 years of leading professional development excursions to select locations around the world, we have brought together over hundreds of educators, with the goal of facilitating discussion and sharing ideas on various topics including culturally and ecologically responsive classrooms, enhancing trust in the classroom and in school culture, building resilient and innovative classrooms while honoring divergent perspectives, and many other issues. We have worked with 60+ different schools, non-profit organizations, universities, and ministries of culture and education.
