Co-hosted by the African Development Bank and the Government of Rwanda, the 2019 Summit will take place in Africa for the first time, in the vibrant city of Kigali, Rwanda from 25 to 27 November.
Under the theme “Unpacking constraints to gender equality”, the Global Gender Summit will focus on scaling up innovation financing for gender equality, fostering an enabling environment, and ensuring women’s participation and voices to empower women and girls in Africa and around the world.
