Gravity's Rainbow - Debut QAlbum Earthlings

QAlbums playback different song versions depending on the location of a master slider. Like their vinyl forbears, QAlbums are intended to be played back in their entirety as a unified collection of songs. Individual songs are created in QStereo, a multi channel audio format that enables the listener to influence the album mix in real time. Like layers in an onion, a master recording can be gently peeled apart and explored by moving a master slider.

Future updates will allow exploration of the LCR (left, centre, right) AND the Quantum Stereo channels in each song . All stereo records made from 1958 to the early 70's were mixed with instrument tracks panned either left, centre or right in the stereo field. Mono recordings of the time were remixed as stereo recordings by using a 3 way panning switch to assign the track location. The QAlbum player allows realtime exploration of these distinct vintage stereo channels while maintaining an even power output from the speakers. Earthlings was mixed for LCR, QStereo and instrumental playback. The final mix is yours.
