Great North Snowdogs is a mass participation art project bringing together local schools, businesses and artists to create something that everyone can enjoy and get involved with.
A colourful trail of 60 large and 97 small snowdogs, painted by artists and school children and inspired by Raymond Briggs’ beloved animated short film, The Snowman™ and The Snowdog, will take to the streets of Tyne and Wear from September 2016.
Use the Great North Snowdogs App to locate and unlock big dogs and packs of small dogs to complete the trail. Hurry though, as you will only have 10 weeks from the September launch to find them before the large snowdogs are auctioned at a glittering event in December to raise funds for St Oswald’s Hospice!
Some of the snowdogs have hidden trophies behind them, which you will want to discover as they will unlock some fantastic offers provided by our big dog sponsors.
Great North Snowdogs is presented by St Oswald’s Hospice in partnership with Wild in Art. All funds raised will support St Oswald’s Children’s Hospice.
