Plug in an electric guitar with interfaces such as Focusrite iTrack Solo/Dock/Pocket/Studio, or IKMultimedia iRig/Pro/Stomp.
Rocksmith RealTone cables work well too when combined with a USB to lightning adaptor.
Acoustic guitars are supported via the built in microphone.
