GymRats Connect

GymRats Connect is your gym’s social network, GymRats Connect will allow members of the same gym and surrounding gyms to connect and find workout buddies.


The features of GymRats Connect include:

- You can register with GymRats Connect as a gym member; or you can register as a guest if you don’t currently have a gym membership.

- When you register as a gym member you will choose your gym, your gym location, and type of workout you do.

- After you sign in, you will be able to access your profile page, upload your profile photo, and give a brief description of yourself in the About Me section.

- You will be able to tap the search button and see other gym members that go to your gym on the Local Buddies view; or browse people that go to surrounding gyms when you tap the Other Buddies tab, then request to connect with them.

- Once the other person accepts your buddy request, they will be added to your buddy list. You can access your buddy list from the profile tab and tap Buddies.

- You will be able to post your workout by tapping the plus sign; all your connected buddies will be notified of your workout and they can join you, comment on your post, and/or like the post.

- There is also a messaging feature within the app. You can directly message a buddy you are connected with.
