HalaalMoris

The Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (“ICCI”) has developed a mobile application that will facilitate the access to information on halaal status, which are available on the Mauritian market. Basing upon the information provided by the local / international halal certifying bodies and suppliers, this App will enable the user to have the halaal status on the following:
- Restaurant
- Food
- Cold Storage / Poultry
- Make-up and Personal Care products
This information is provided through listing or via barcodes (for products) and QR Codes (for outlets)
A list of haram ingredients as well as the list of E-Codes Halaal will also be included in the application.

The App uses the information provided by the local / international halal certifying bodies and suppliers, when displaying the halaal status of the restaurant, food brand, cold storage/poultry and make-up and personal care products. Without their support and collaboration, this project would not be possible.
Products that are certified at origin are also included.
