Handwriting Scanner

People who take handwritten notes may have realized, once a lot of paper notes have been taken, it is difficult to find the notes you are looking for. Additionally, the notes are never nearby when you need them.

This app can help, it can convert photos to text, organize them into folders, let you view and search by text to retrieve specific notes. Both the images and text can be viewed, to see any drawings or diagrams which may be present in the images.

Image to text - Converts handwritten notes into text files using OCR (optical character recognition).

Organize - Files are saved in regular folders on the iCloud drive, instead of a database. So instead of accessing each file one by one by exporting, this program allows you to access all your files using a desktop computer or "iCloud.com" on the web. On the Mac, using the Finder, open "iCloud Drive -> HandwritingScanner" to access all your folders and files. On Windows, you will need to install the free application, "iCloud for Windows", then use the Windows Explorer to access all your folders and files.

Search and View - Notes can be searched by text. The resulting text or images can be viewed.

Add / Edit notes - Notes can be edited or added by typing in text, similar to other notetaking apps.

Complete privacy - All processing is performed on your iPhone / iPad, not on a server. Therefore we do not have access to your files. These images and the text files are either stored on your iPhone / iPad or in your own account in iCloud Drive provided by Apple. Some other handwriting recognition products, state in the their Privacy Policy, that they will access your files to improve their software.

Share - Files can be shared via email, text, Internet drives, social media etc. using this app, or the entire folder of files can be copied and given to the recipient using your desktop computer by accessing the iCloud Drive, as described above.

Premium features - This software recognizes text in images and saves this text in files. In the free version, however, there is a limitation. Only the first 20 words of recognized text are saved, and copying and pasting of this text is disabled. The premium version removes this limitation, so all of the text is saved. There is no limitation for saving images or manually enter text, only automatically recognized text.

Purchase options - There is a monthly, yearly, and a one time purchase option, shown on a screen in the App. Subscriptions auto renew. This subscription will continue unless canceled in settings on the device, 24 hours before period ends. Subscriptions maybe managed by the user and auto renewal maybe turned off by going to the user's Account Setting after purchase.
