Harrawood Reader: Dyslexia Aid

The Harrawood Reader was developed to assist individuals with dyslexia. Varying degrees of dyslexia exist in our society and those who have some form of it may struggle with writing, pronunciation and even comprehension of some words. Someone with dyslexia may also struggle with learning since so much of how we take in information is comprised of reading. The Harrawood Reader was designed to help individuals with reading and comprehension by compiling multiple lines of text into a single scrolling line. Therefore, the reader is no longer distracted by other text that would normally surround the words they are trying to focus on. Users can also receive help with pronunciation and definitions of words if desired. Our hope is that by using the Harrawood Reader, individuals with dyslexia will find reading more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Included features of the Harrawood Reader allow users to perform the following:
- Load copied text from anywhere within a device
- Load text from images
- Browse web pages and load copied text from them
- Modify text scrolling speed
- Pronounce words
- Listen to definitions for words
- Store items in a library for reading later
- Adjust voice assistant settings
- Change background and text color
