Service Instructions:
1- The selection of the specialty shall be upon the request and under the responsibility of the patient as per the data posted on each doctor.
2-Clinic days and shifts (morning, afternoon and evening) shall be posted for every doctor. The patient shall choose the day and the shift he may wish.
3-The patient’s choice shall be sent to the service provider which shall inform the patient if his choice is available or not and the nearest possibility. The response time depends on timing difference and official working hours of the service provider.
4-If the appointment day and time or the available choices are suitable for the patient, he shall book the appointment and pay the charges. If he has an insurance deposit with the service provider, he can recover it when appearing at the time of the appointment or request his insurer to repay the charges directly to him.
5-There is a grace period for the cancellation of the appointment and recovery of the charges. If the appointment is not cancelled within the specified time, 50% of the charges amount will be deducted by the service provider
6-The patient will be provided directly by the service provider with the details of the appointment and all related information at his email with a copy thereof sent to the platform.
Booking a Bed for an Inpatient in Another Hospital
Service Instructions
1-This service is provided for inpatients who seek to be admitted into another hospital for a better treatment or seek to be admitted directly
2-Detailed information will be posted on each medical section and attending doctors for the service requestor to make his suitable choice.
3-The service provider shall be provided with a recent medical report in addition to any other examinations that the admission of the case may require.
4-The service request will be replied to within 72 hours from the time of registering the request either by approval, disapproval or consideration.
5-Upon approval, the estimate cost of treatment, proposed period of hospitalization, date and day of admission, method of payment and suitable method of transferring the patient will be provided for the patient at his email with a copy thereof to the platform.
6-The patient shall pay the whole or part of the cost of treatment before admission for the period stated in the admission letter as per the advance payment, cancellation and repayment policy related to booking of beds applied by the service provider.
7-The agency insuring the treatment of the patient may pay the cost of treatment on behalf of the patient for the period specified in the admission letter.
Seeking Second Opinion
Service Instructions:
1-This service allows the patient to seek the opinion of a consultant on the treatment he is receiving from his treating doctor at the time of submitting the request.
2-The second opinion is given based on the medical report and other examinations of the patient provided for the doctor.
3-The medical opinion is provided for the patient in a written form stating that either the current treatment received by the patient as shown in the medical report is suitable or recommending alternative treatment and designating where the patient can receive it.
4-The consultation charges are paid in advance directly to the hospital’s account.
5-The consultation may require additional information, in which case the consultant will contact the patient directly through his email shown in the request.
6-The second opinion is given within 72 hours from the time of submitting the request provided that no additional information is requested from the patient.
7-In case no written second opinion could be given to the patient for any reason whatsoever, the consultation charges will be repaid to the patient.
