Healthy Bees is a so-called serious game about how to keep your bee colonies healthy and achieve sustainable beekeeping.
Through the game, more people can learn about good beekeeping methods, bee behavior, pests and diseases, and how to deal with various challenges.
The game is based on experience-based learning and contributes to knowledge about the effects of the varroa mite, insights into how the surrounding landscape affects beekeeping and what measures in the form of planting can create a sustainable landscape for the bees.
Bee Healthy will help more beginners succeed with their beekeeping and interest more people to try beekeeping. In the long term, this contributes to strengthened beekeeping in Sweden as knowledge increases about what is required to create sustainable landscapes for honey bees and also wild pollinators.
