Healthy House Checklist

The Healthy House Checklist App is designed to empower homeowners and renovators with the tools they need to identify many of the asbestos-containing materials (ACM) that remain in one third of Aussie homes to ensure asbestos is managed safely.

Purposely designed to link directly to Australia’s only online asbestos product database, the App lists the possible locations where ACMs might be found and helps identify, evaluate and manage asbestos in and around homes to ensure asbestos is managed safely.

By following simple step-by-step instructions, in less than an hour homeowners, renovators and DIYers across Australia can have a better understanding of the types of products to look for and if they are in need of maintenance, repair or removal.

The App stores your images of suspected products, records information, product condition, sets reminders to reinspect materials to ensure they remain safe; and provides printable property reports which can be referred to by homeowners and tradies when planning work in and around homes.

Developed by the Asbestos Education Committee, the App is the latest useful, user-friendly resource developed for the national Asbestos Awareness Campaign to help homeowners, renovators and tradies manage asbestos safely.
