The World's Best Free Hearing Test App

Want a quick, simple and confidential way to check your own hearing, or the hearing of a family member or friend?

Now you can determine if your hearing is within normal range, or you have a hearing loss. All without the need to visit a Doctor. And depending on your test results, you may wish to visit a Hearing Care Professional after this test.

Created by a Professional Audiology Expert to help determine whether or not you have a hearing impairment, this App has been carefully tested to ensure the most accurate results possible.

No special equipment is required. The test uses headsets or earbuds that are generally available worldwide.

This is the best, most comprehensive, free test available.

Hearing with background noise present in Restaurants or train/subway stations can be difficult for some. So, this App will test if you can hear sounds with background noise present - as well as in quiet situations. There's even a short questionnaire to test your knowledge of hearing.

By displaying your results in a graph (Audiogram) and showing you an explanation of your results in text, it will help you determine if you have a hearing impairment.

You may then email your Audiogram and test results to yourself - or a friend - for printing.

It auto-saves your test too, in case you're interrupted while testing... So you don't have to go back to the beginning and start all over again...

This App allows you to test on 3 levels:

1. Hearing Sensitivity is used to determine the quietest sounds you can hear.
2. Hearing in Noise is a measurement of your ability to hear sounds in the presence of noise.
3. The Questionnaire is a series of questions regarding your performance in common listening situations.

If you do detect a hearing loss, seek the advice of a Hearing Care Professional. There are over 4,000 Hearing Care Professionals listed in this App, by distance or by A to Z search, view maps, GPS enabled, "Find Around Me" feature.

People can generally hear sounds with frequencies between 20 Hz and 20,000 Hz, although this range varies with age and gender. Most people can no longer hear 20,000 Hz by the time they are teenagers and they progressively lose the ability to hear higher frequencies as they get older.

Test your friends and family too, including your parents.
If you detect a hearing loss, don't feel bad. Partial hearing loss is quite common.
