What is it about?
This is an app built for medical students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. The 3D heart models used in this app were created from CT scans of actual hearts and show real variation in human anatomy. The app uses fully rotatable and color-coordinated heart models along with text and review questions to teach students about all the major congenital heart defects. Alex Stoker, a medical student at U of A COM - PHX, along with radiologist Randy Richardson, MD and Timmy Garrabrant, designed the app.
