App Store Description
HeartBeat visualises the heart beat recorded by one of the many available BlueTooth Low Energy (BLE) heart beat sensors available.
This application aims to give the user a clear readout of such a sensor.
This software is build in such a way that is should work with any bluetooth low energy heart beat sensor available.
During measurements, some statistical information about beat to beat interval timing is shown as an indication of the heart rate variability (HRV)
The accuracy of the information depends heavily on the sensor used!
Next to the statistical standard deviation between beats (SDNN), the number of succeeding beat cycles in a 20ms (NN20) and 50ms (NN50) interval is calculated together with the percentage of those cycles. (pNN20/pNN50)
There are two charts, one of the last 5 minutes and one overall chart with aggregated data.
The App has a function to upload the raw sensor data to a TCP/IP socket for off loading and processing.
