This cardboard virtual reality application initiated and developed by Shire with world experts in haematology presents virtual patient clinical cases. It consists of several complex haematologist
consults in 3D that represent a patient’s journey during the management of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), a group of diseases previously called myeloproliferative disorders (MPD). These cases enable physicians to test their diagnosis skills on essential thrombocytosis (ET) also known as essential thrombocythemia, essential thrombocythaemia, or primary thrombocytosis.
