App Store Description

The Henry Ford Health System and InSilico have partnered up to bring a set of games and tools to help improve the lives of those affected by Autism. Together, we’re aiming to provide clinically developed and scientifically grounded applications for those with special needs.

The launch of the first four applications mark just the beginning of what’s possible. Each of the apps focuses on a different area of educational development, whether that be fine motor skills, speech development, social interaction, or resources to further your understanding of autism.

Paper Alphabet is built in collaboration with the Henry Ford Health System's world class Board Certified Behavior Analysts and occupational therapists. Each letter of the alphabet in the app contains an object and an associated activity. Each activity is meant to be social and collaborative, to be used together with a parent, friend, or educator.

The app is based upon sets of activities that an ABA therapist might perform with a child. Such as discrete trial training, turn-taking, etc. It is meant to be used as a tool to help make those experiences more enjoyable and fun.
