Hoisting Beam

Hoisting Beam is an application which clarifies that the used steel profiles could be applied for hoisting. Steel profiles are widely applied in construction. To assume that the profiles are suitable for hoisting or lifting use this application!

This application is based on assumptions, these assumptions are standard values which are mostly applied. The assumptions are displayed in the values tab. A calculation only requires three input values. The length of the steel profile, the weight and the used profile. After inserting these three values the calculation button will show the profile is suitable or not.

The application supports HEA, HEB, IPE and INP standard profiles. More profiles will be added in the future.

The application also includes a profile specification library.
