What is it about?
With the popularity of smart phones, Li Ka Shing Foundation, together with the Centre on Behavioral Health, the University of Hong Kong, jointly develop the "Hospicehome" mobile phone application that allows patients and their family members to record daily changes in physical and mental well-being, and to share with others their ups and downs in the hospice journey. Also, we hope to raise public awareness of the development of hospice care in Hong Kong, and to provide more support and care to the patients, family members and health care professionals.

Blog「打開心窗」- allows patients, caregivers, families, medical staff and
volunteers to upload articles to express their feelings and share their
experiences.
Patient health monitoring 「我的身心記錄」 – allows users to jot down personal health and notes for health self-monitoring
E-Cards「祝安好」- enables people to send greeting e-cards to one another
Professional bloggers 「專業網誌」- the blogs written by the medical professionals
Voice Recording 「聲音留情」- allow users to record the voice message
Study Room「自修室」- runs videos for private studies which contain medical and
psycho-social advice from hospice care professionals (doctors, nurses, social workers
etc), as well as experience sharing by family members of patients and can upload videos by members of the community to show their support for the hospice care community.
Forum「尋找同路人」- provides a platform for searching with similar experiences to share, to exchange information and to show support and share with one other
Questionnaire 「一分鐘關心你」- fill in the questionnaire to check the user’s pressure, pain level and life satisfaction
