Hot Takes — Social Map Reviews

Hot Takes is a social review app that has been reimagined from the ground up. It's a one-stop-shop for discovering the hottest trending spots, hearing what your friends think about them, and sharing your own reviews (aka 'takes'). Takes are short voice notes that can include a photo, a few keywords, and a score from 1-100.

Hot Takes features include:

- Voice-first “Hot Takes” shared between friends
- See what's hot, at a glance, with our smart map pins
- Connect with friends and find new ones
- Track all the places you’ve been to
- See all your friends’ takes on your map
- Get access to exclusive local promotions (for now, only available in NYC)

Takes are for your friends' ears and eyes only, but we pull together and summarize the opinion of every other user so you can get a quick sense of every spot on the map. To do this, our backend AI recommendation algorithm transcribes, summarizes, and analyzes each take.
