Hunter Odds

I get questions all the time when recommending hunts to people = "What unit can I draw a tag in given I have x number of preference points?". That's why I created this app.

Input the state you want to hunt in, residency, species (elk, deer, antelope, bear, etc.), sex, weapon and number of preference points and we will tell you what hunt code in that state you have 100% chance of drawing a hunting license, preference points required and hunter success rate when hunting that area. On the final results page you can sort by each results column by taping the column header or search on specific data in that column by entering in the text box below the header.

Not all states have a preference point system (bonus points are different) and if they do they need to meet certain criteria in their data they have available for us to present you with the information you need to apply for a license. We need to have available to us all the information you enter into the app (hunt code, data split out by residency, animal sex (male, female, either), weapons used, number of preference points used to draw the license, number of applicants, number of licenses awarded and hunters success rate by each hunt code.

If you find any issues with the data or believe it's wrong then please let us know but you have to give us an example and links on where to find the data and how you are reading it so we can pursue it further and provide you with accurate information.
