Turn your iPad or iPhone into a simulation training device. The IFR Trainer is a simple and effective IFR training tool. You can practice course and radial tracking on your iPad or iPhone and save valuable time during your flight training.
The IFR Trainer displays an Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator (EHSI) with a DME reading and two bearing pointers. The EHSI can be used to intercept a VOR radial or to track an NDB bearing. Alternatively, you can display two gauges: one HSI and a single needle ADF Indicator with a manually adjustable compass card.
Use of dark appearance is recommended as it meets EASA AMC 25-11. Light appearance can be used for a classroom presentation.
