The IIWEY APP is a smart application designed specifically for the IIWEY dash cam, allowing you to seamlessly connect the dash cam to your smartphone for a convenient driving experience. Here are the main features of the IIWEY APP:
Real-time Live Stream • With the IIWEY APP, you can view the live stream from the dash cam on your phone (note that the dash cam does not have internet access, so remote viewing is not possible).
Dash Cam Settings • Set up the dash cam directly from your phone, including options like resolution, loop recording, time watermark, and more, without complex operations.
Video Playback • Replay the videos recorded by the dash cam, so you don’t miss any important moments.
Video Download & Editing • Download videos recorded by the dash cam to your phone with one click, use the built-in editing tools in the app to edit, and share them with insurance companies or law enforcement.
Please note that regardless of whether your dash cam is connected to your phone, once the car starts, the dash cam will automatically begin recording to ensure your driving safety.
Since the dash cam’s Wi-Fi does not connect to the internet, we do not recommend keeping your phone connected while driving to avoid interference with your phone’s internet reception. We recommend connecting to the dash cam under the following circumstances:
• Setting up the dash cam
• Playback of recorded videos
• Downloading, editing, and sharing videos
