IMU Research

IMU Research captures inertial measurement data from IMU BlueThunder Sensors in a single application. It enables precise, multi-limb, field-based biomechanics data capture via, small, synchronized, high-frequency inertial sensors.

* Record and time-sync up to 8 sensors total at 9-axis 500Hz when logged to on board memory via 2 concurrent trials
* Record and time-sync up to 8 sensors total at 3-axis 1000Hz when logged to on board memory via 2 concurrent trials
* Stream and time-sync up to 4 sensors to your iOS device at 9-axis 100Hz via Bluetooth
* Stream and time-sync up to 4 sensors to your iOS device at 3-axis 500Hz via Bluetooth

After recording, seamlessly export CSV files to any analytics platform such as Excel, MATLAB or Python for further analysis. For recordings stored on board, a desktop application is used in conjunction with IMU Research iOS.

IMU BlueThunder Sensors are now fully Integrated from Vicon Nexus 2.7 as Vicon's first Integrated Inertial Measurement Unit. Vicon is an Academy Award-winning company, and the world’s largest supplier of precision motion capture and tracking systems.

IMU Research is only compatible with IMeasureU’s Inertial Sensors running firmware 1.0.0 and above.
