The SAI of the United Arab Emirates (SAI - UAE) has been a member in the INCOSAI for more than 30 years. SAIUAE has been working hand in hand to establish its international presence and to be an active player in developing values embraced by the INTOSAI like good governance, transfer of knowledge, capacity building and many more. In deed the SAIUAE –is keen on a continuous fruitful relationship with the organization and its member bodies. SAI UAE hosted XXII INCOSAI 2016 Conference in the United Arab Emirates and the 68th and 69th INTOSAI Governing Board meeting in Abu Dhabi. As a result had the Chairmanship of INTOSAI for the period of 2016 – 2019 to H.E Dr. Harib Al Amimi – President of SAI UAE. The INCOSAI does not only represent the gathering of the INCOSAI community, but also facilitates the process of knowledge transfer and enrich the development of auditing standards in the public sector.”
