Independent Framing is a custom framing studio located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, directly between the Arts District and Gallery Row.
For us, framing is about quality and craftsmanship of preserving and showcasing art. We take great pride in our work.
We specialize in working with artists, collectors and galleries in a minimalistic style of high quality and low cost conservation framing.
We believe in building strong relationships with both our clients and vendors and we believe in going that extra step to ensure quality. That’s why we guarantee all of our services and all of the work that comes out of our studio.
We understand the necessity of being environmentally conscious and responsible. That’s why all of our wood comes from sustainable active and controlled reforestation programs and we recycle any and all framing materials we don’t use and always use recycled and sustainable framing materials whenever possible.
We believe in high quality. That’s why after our frame corners are both nailed and glued, we go the extra step to clamp all of our frames at high-tension, overnight, to ensure the strongest corner bonds possible.
We believe in standing behind our product. That’s why we tested any and all material and techniques we use, independently, and why we’ve carefully selected only the best options and highest quality techniques to offer our clients.
Best of all, we believe that none of this should affect the cost. That’s why our clients find our prices very affordable when compared to other custom framing studios.
