However, infertility can be a very isolating experience for any couple. Here in Ireland we are very much a family orientated society with focus on celebrations such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, First Communion, Confirmations etc.

For many of us we bear this burden in silence, not willing or wanting to share with our families or even our closest friends. We take the funny remarks and jibes but deep inside they hurt while we present a happy face to the world.
