What is it about?

In vitreous surgery, filling the vitreous body with air can facilitate surgical operations and improve the success rate of surgery. Therefore, vitreous filled air has been widely used in ophthalmic surgery. When the vitreous is filled with air, the intraocular pressure (IOP) will float. In order to control the fluctuation of intraocular pressure, doctors often advise patients not to go to low-pressure areas during the postoperative recovery period, such as flying or high altitude. However, postoperative recovery can only be accurately determined by a professional ophthalmologist. Without accurate judgment, there is a great potential risk for every trip of the patient. Therefore, we need to design a smartphone-based application (APP) that can help patients easily and accurately predict travel risks without a professional ophthalmologist.
